A mix of English sporting results

No poker for a few days as I've been busy with work. I'm also pretty tired although I blame the England cricket team for making me stay up late and then failing to deliver so spectacularly. Again. At least we're back to some sense of normality for them. It's going to make it hard to win the three-match series now, but they've only got themselves to blame. At least they start the next one this weekend so maybe they'll feel guilty and actually join in the game this time. Of course even the first innings batting performance was less than average if you forget about Trescothick's effort.

Still enjoying England's football victory over Argentina though :-) I was watching this with some Argentinian friends and had accepted the English defeat, so to have it turn round so spectacularly was very nice. And their faces made it even better! They even played liek they cared this time which was altogether unexpected.

Oh yeah, and the English rugby team destroying the Aussies so they lose their seventh game in a row! Bring it on. New Zealand this coming weekend. They are playing amazing rugby at the moment and I expect the result to be completely the opposite. Just don't be embarassing, please.
